Three-Phase General Purpose Motors
BRAKE MOTORS – Three-Phase
TEFC - High Efficiency
WEG brake motors consist of an induction
motor coupled to a disc brake. Brake is of
sturdy construction with few moving parts
which guarantees long durability and minimum
maintenance.
Standard Features:
- Class F insulation (Impregnation Resin and
Magnet Wire are class H)
- F1 Mounted
- Stainless Steel Nameplate - Laser etched with
high contrast background
- Regreasable ball bearings (Frames 254T and up)
If separate power supply to the Brake is required, (Such as on
Motors operating from Variable frequency Controller); 230V to
the Brake module is mandatory, unless motor model contains
“Q” (ex. 00118EP3EBMQ143T). For “Q” models, the input
voltage to the Brake module is 460V AC.
